We Stand Beside Kidney Patients
When It Matters Most

1

Relief

Kidney disease is expensive in ways most people never anticipate. When the bills start stacking up and insurance falls short, we step in. Our members receive real financial relief — so they can stop worrying about the cost of staying alive and start focusing on getting better.

3

Access

Missing dialysis is not an option. Missing a specialist appointment can set back months of progress. Our members receive dependable, consistent access to the care they need — rides to and from every dialysis session and every critical medical appointment, week after week, without fail.

2

Dignity

Spending three to four hours in a dialysis chair, three times a week, is one of the hardest parts of living with kidney disease. Our members receive a warm blanket and a simple but powerful message: someone thought of you today. You matter. You are not forgotten.

WAYS WE SERVE KIDNEY PATIENTS

Hope & Healing Kidney Foundation of Texas was founded by Staci Curry with one belief: kidney patients deserve more support than the system currently provides. We step in where insurance stops — helping cover medical costs, ensuring patients can get to their appointments, and delivering comfort to those sitting in a dialysis chair for hours, three times a week.

  • Financial Assistance with Medical Costs

  • Comfort Blankets for Dialysis Patients

  • Transportation to Dialysis Appointments

  • Serving Kidney Patients Across North Texas

The Four Pillars of Hope & Healing

Four Ways We Stand Beside Kidney Patients Every Week

Kidney disease doesn't pause. It doesn't take weekends off. And the needs it creates — financial, logistical, and deeply human — don't stop at the clinic door. Hope & Healing Kidney Foundation of Texas was built on four pillars, each one chosen because it addresses something real that kidney patients face right now. Not someday. Right now.

Financial Assistance

A kidney diagnosis brings a flood of costs that insurance was never designed to fully cover — specialty medications, co-pays, medical equipment, lab work, and procedures that add up fast. We step in to help cover those gaps so patients can focus their energy on healing, not on how to pay the next bill. Because no one fighting for their life should also be fighting their finances.

Dialysis Transportation

Dialysis is not optional. Patients attend treatment three times a week, every single week — and missing a session is not just inconvenient, it is dangerous. For patients without reliable transportation, getting there can feel impossible. We provide scheduled, dependable rides to and from dialysis centers so that no patient in our community ever has to miss the care that keeps them alive.

Medical Appointment Transportation

Managing kidney disease means regular visits to nephrologists, specialists, and care teams — on top of an already demanding dialysis schedule. We provide transportation to and from these critical appointments so patients can stay on top of their full care plan, not just the parts they can physically get to. Every appointment matters. We make sure patients can make them.

Comfort Blankets

Dialysis sessions last three to four hours, often in a treatment center that is uncomfortably cold. Week after week, patients sit in those chairs while their blood is filtered through a machine — exhausted, vulnerable, and too often forgotten by the world outside. We provide warm, high-quality blankets to patients during their sessions. It is a small thing. And it says something that matters: we see you. You are not alone in that chair.
